Best Coffeemaker I ever bought, April 8, 2011 - By Lucy Arritt (Mauldin, SC)

I have been using various models of Cuisinart coffeemakers for several years. I love the thermal carafe models because I can make a pot when I get up earlier than everyone else in the house and know that my family will have hot, fresh-tasting coffee for up to 4-5 hours after I make it. This particular model far outshines the ones I have used before. It is very user friendly with a combo of simple to understand knobs and push-buttons. The charcoal filter for a clean, delicious pot of coffee and the permanent filter were big selling points for me. I highly recommend this coffeemaker and will buy another one when my family's 3-pot-a-day habit finally wears this one out.

Not for the weak wrists, March 27, 2011 - By Leslie Renee King (Goshen, Kentucky)

I have now had the product for about a month. It is not easy to pour the water into the top. It is not easy to read the water levels on the side. It uses more coffee than my old KitchenAid. It keeps the coffee hot longer, without a bitter taste. Although somewhat awkward, it makes a good cup of coffee. I bought it because we kept breaking the glass coffee pots. There is always a trade off between style and sturdy. If you want something easy to use and wash, keep looking. I THINK THIS POT WILL LAST FOR A LONG TIME.

Good coffeemaker!, March 21, 2011 - By naturemom

This coffeemaker make a REALLY good cup of coffee. You can select whether you want it to be bold flavored or regular, we use the 1-4 cup setting in the morning, which brews the perfect amount for 2 people, and I like the indicator that tells you when it needs to be cleaned (with vinegar). The carafe doesn't keep it boiling hot for hours, but it does keep it hot enough that after 4-5 hours, there is still steam coming out of the carafe when you open the top. Very happy with this product!
